In 2007, Bodo opened an engineering office in Beijing, China to research and develop far infrared sauna technology. While living in Bejing, a number of our staff experienced health problems directly caused by pollution.

As we came to grips with the impact of pollution in our own lives, we began to understand that air quality is a much larger issue than we realized. What surprised us most was that (1) indoor air is actually a much worse problem than outside air, and (2) indoor air causes acute health issues not just in places like Beijing, but also for millions of Canadians.

We first heard about IQ Air because of its reputation in Beijing as the only purifier that could actually handle that city's extreme air problems. After extensive industry research, we decided to develop a relationship with IQ Air to offer their purifiers to Canadians.
